About This Item
The Pentair Propane Conversion Orifices (476370) is the OEM replacement propane conversion kit for the Pentair ETi 250 High-Efficiency Pool & Spa Heater, enabling a natural gas unit to operate on liquid propane (LP) fuel at elevations from 0 to 2,000 feet (0–610 meters).
IMPORTANT: ALTITUDE RESTRICTION — DO NOT INSTALL ABOVE 2,000 FEET / 610 METERS
This kit is rated for heaters installed at elevations between 0 and 2,000 feet (610 meters) only. Installing this kit in a heater located above 2,000 feet will result in incorrect fuel-to-air ratios and unsafe operation. A separate high-altitude propane conversion kit is required for installations above this elevation. Verify your site elevation before ordering.
IMPORTANT: THIS LISTING IS FOR A KIT — MULTIPLE COMPONENTS INCLUDED
This kit contains the orifice components required to convert the ETi 250 from natural gas to liquid propane. Confirm that all kit contents are present before beginning the conversion. Professional installation is required.
IMPORTANT: LICENSED PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION REQUIRED — GAS APPLIANCE CONVERSION
Gas and electrical heater components must be serviced by a licensed pool professional or qualified HVAC technician. Do not attempt to service gas or high-voltage components without proper certification. A carbon monoxide (CO) detector should be installed in any enclosed or semi-enclosed area where this heater operates.
This kit supplies the correct LP orifices needed to reconfigure the ETi 250 burner assembly for propane fuel delivery. Natural gas and propane operate at different pressures and require different orifice sizing; installing the correct orifices ensures the heater maintains rated combustion efficiency and safe operation on LP. Without the properly sized orifices, the heater will run rich or lean, producing incomplete combustion, reduced output, and potential safety hazards.

Poolaroo Pro Tip
Before ordering, confirm your installation site elevation. The 476370 kit is calibrated for LP combustion at sea level through 2,000 feet — the orifice sizing is not interchangeable with high-altitude variants. If you are close to the 2,000-foot threshold, measure your actual site elevation rather than estimating by zip code or nearest city. After the conversion is complete, a licensed technician should verify manifold pressure and perform a combustion analysis to confirm the heater is operating within the ETi 250's rated parameters.
