The Pentair Cartridge Gasket (R172222Z) is the OEM replacement gasket for the Dynamic Filter Series II & III RTL and RCF top-load in-line cartridge filters, and the compatible Chlorine/Bromine Dispenser for those filter models.
IMPORTANT: QUANTITY REQUIRED VARIES BY APPLICATION
Two (2) gaskets are required per RTL or RCF cartridge filter for a complete service. One (1) gasket is required per Chlorine/Bromine Dispenser (R172540 / R172540F). Confirm your application before ordering to ensure you receive the correct quantity.
This gasket seals the cartridge housing on the Dynamic Filter Series II & III, maintaining a watertight closure between filter components. A deteriorated or compressed gasket allows bypass of unfiltered water and causes pressure loss at the filter housing. Replacing this gasket at each cartridge service interval restores the proper seal and prevents leaks at the filter head.
