The Pentair Flange Gasket (070943) is the OEM replacement P-135 flange gasket for the Pentair C Series High Performance Commercial Pump. Sold individually, this 5-inch diameter gasket seals the pump flange connection and is required any time the pump flange is disassembled for service or inspection.
What It Does
The flange gasket creates a pressure-tight seal at the pump's flanged pipe connection, preventing leaks at the inlet or discharge flange joint. A damaged or compressed gasket at this location will cause visible water loss under operating pressure and should be replaced as part of any planned flange service.

Pro Tip
When disassembling a C Series pump flange for any reason — shaft seal replacement, impeller service, or routine inspection — replace the flange gasket at the same time. The gasket compresses under torque and will not re-seal reliably once removed. Having part 070943 on hand before the service begins avoids a second pump shutdown.
