About This Item
The Pentair IntelliChlor Replacement Union Kit (520595) is the OEM replacement union assembly for IntelliChlor salt chlorinator power centers and EasyTouch control systems. This kit supplies the complete union hardware needed to properly connect — or reconnect — your IntelliChlor salt cell to the plumbing line.
IMPORTANT: KIT CONTENTS — TWO UNIONS INCLUDED
This listing is for a complete kit containing 2 O-rings, 2 couplers, and 2 nuts — one union assembly for each end of the IntelliChlor salt cell. Confirm you require the full union kit before ordering; individual union components are not available separately through this listing.
The union assemblies form the watertight plumbing connections at both ends of the IntelliChlor salt cell, securing the cell in-line and allowing removal for inspection or service without cutting pipe. When unions become brittle, cracked, or develop leaks, this OEM kit restores a proper, pressure-rated seal at both cell connections.

Poolaroo Pro Tip
When installing replacement unions on a salt cell, inspect the O-rings in this kit for any nicks or deformation before seating them — a damaged O-ring is the most common cause of a union that leaks immediately after reassembly. Hand-tighten the nuts until snug, then a quarter-turn more; over-tightening plastic union nuts is a frequent cause of cracking. If your existing union bodies (the flanged collar that glues to the pipe) are in good condition, only the nuts, couplers, and O-rings in this kit need to be replaced.
