The Pentair Standard Mesh Bag (R211516) is the OEM replacement mesh bag for the Pentair Leaf Trap series, including Models 179, 179C, and 186 variants.
This bag is the debris-collection liner inside the leaf trap canister. When the mesh deteriorates or tears, the trap loses its ability to hold captured debris — leaves, twigs, and other material pass back into the line or clog the housing. Replacing the bag restores full debris retention and keeps the trap functioning as designed.
