About This Item
The Pentair Terminal Board (42001-0056S) is the OEM replacement terminal board for the MasterTemp, ETi, and Max-E-Therm pool and spa heater series.
IMPORTANT: LICENSED PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION REQUIRED
Gas and electrical heater components must be serviced by a licensed pool professional or qualified HVAC technician. Do not attempt to service gas or high-voltage components without proper certification.
The terminal board provides the central electrical connection point within the heater control enclosure, distributing power and signal connections to the heater's operating components. A failed or damaged terminal board can result in loss of heater function, erratic operation, or failure to ignite.

Poolaroo Pro Tip
Before ordering, locate the existing terminal board in your heater's control enclosure and confirm the part number printed on the board itself. Heater electrical enclosures may have been updated across production runs — matching against the number on the installed component is the most reliable confirmation method. Have a licensed pool professional perform the replacement to ensure all terminal connections are torqued correctly and no wiring is disturbed during the swap.
