About This Item
The Pentair Sealing Ring (79206000) is the OEM replacement sealing ring for Pentair small stainless steel pool light niches. Sold individually.
IMPORTANT: POOL LIGHTING — LICENSED INSTALLATION REQUIRED
Pool lighting components operate in wet environments. Installation must comply with NEC Article 680 and be performed by a licensed electrician.
This sealing ring creates the watertight seal between the light fixture and the stainless steel niche body. A deteriorated or improperly seated sealing ring allows water intrusion into the niche, compromising both fixture integrity and electrical safety. Replacing it at each lamp or fixture service interval maintains a reliable seal and protects the niche from water damage.

Poolaroo Pro Tip
Inspect the sealing ring each time you remove the light fixture for bulb replacement or servicing. The ring can flatten or develop micro-cracks over time, particularly in pools with aggressive water chemistry. Replacing it proactively during routine fixture service is far less disruptive than addressing water intrusion after the fact. Always have a licensed electrician perform any work involving the niche or fixture wiring.
