About This Item
The Pentair O-Ring Seal Bracket (355619Z) is the OEM replacement seal plate O-ring for the SuperFlo and SuperMax pump families, sealing the interface between the seal bracket and pump housing to prevent water from bypassing the mechanical seal area.
IMPORTANT: LUBRICATION REQUIRED — SOLD SEPARATELY
Always lubricate this O-ring with a silicone-based lubricant before installation. We carry the Pentair R172351 Lifeguard Silicone Lubricant — the OEM-matched product for Pentair equipment.
This O-ring seats at the seal bracket on the wet end of the pump. A deteriorated or missing seal bracket O-ring allows water to migrate past the bracket face, which can accelerate mechanical seal wear and lead to visible leakage at the pump body. Replacing this O-ring at each mechanical seal service interval is standard practice.

Pro Tip
Replace this O-ring any time you remove the seal bracket — even if it looks intact. O-rings that have been compressed and heat-cycled through a season rarely re-seal reliably once disturbed. Before reinstalling, apply a thin, even coat of Pentair R172351 Lifeguard Silicone Lubricant to the O-ring to help it seat correctly and resist cracking over time. Do not use petroleum-based lubricants — they degrade rubber O-rings and will cause premature failure.
