IMPORTANT: PROPANE (LP) HEATERS ONLY — NOT FOR NATURAL GAS
This orifice kit is calibrated specifically for propane (LP) fuel. It is not interchangeable with the natural gas orifice kit. Confirm your heater's fuel type before ordering.

The gas orifice controls the metered flow of propane fuel into the MasterTemp 300 burner assembly. A damaged, corroded, or incorrectly sized orifice will result in improper combustion, ignition failure, or unsafe heater operation. Replacing the orifice with the correct OEM-matched kit restores proper fuel delivery and combustion performance.

When converting a MasterTemp 300 from natural gas to propane — or replacing a worn orifice in an existing LP installation — confirm the model suffix on your heater's rating plate before ordering. The 300NA designates a unit shipped from the factory configured for natural gas; the 300LP designates a factory-configured propane unit. Either model requires this orifice kit (460754) for propane operation, but orifice replacement or fuel conversion must be performed by a licensed gas technician. Never substitute an incorrect orifice — orifice bore diameter is fuel-type specific and directly affects combustion safety.
