The Pentair Replacement Skimmer Float (R38013B) is the OEM replacement float for the Pentair Admiral Skimmer, restoring proper weir action and surface skimming performance.

The skimmer float rides at the throat of the skimmer, rising and falling with the water surface to draw a thin layer of water — carrying oils, leaves, and surface debris — into the skimmer basket. When the pump shuts off, the float drops and acts as a check flap, holding collected debris in the basket rather than allowing it to drift back into the pool. A cracked, warped, or missing float leaves the water surface visually dirty even when the filtration system is running.
