The Pentair 2-Piece Plastic Clamp Assembly (152165) is the OEM replacement valve clamp for Pentair Sand Dollar, Cristal-Flo II, and Tagelus sand filters, as well as compatible Pentair HiFlow and PacFab multiport valves with 1‑1/2 in. connections.
IMPORTANT: DATE-OF-MANUFACTURE RESTRICTION
For Cristal-Flo II filter systems, this clamp assembly applies to units manufactured 2009 and beyond. Confirm your system's manufacture date before ordering — earlier Cristal-Flo II units require a different clamp.
This 2-piece plastic clamp secures the multiport valve to the filter tank body, maintaining a pressure-tight seal at the valve-to-tank connection. A failed or cracked clamp allows the valve to unseat under operating pressure, resulting in bypass, leaks, or loss of backwash function. The assembly includes the nuts and screws needed for installation.

When replacing the clamp assembly, inspect the multiport valve's top-mount collar and the filter tank neck for cracks or deformation at the same time — a damaged seating surface will cause the new clamp to leak regardless of how securely it's tightened. Hand-tighten the nuts evenly in an alternating pattern to ensure the clamp seats squarely around the valve body before applying final torque.
