Some IntelliFlo compatibility records specify pumps manufactured after April 2016 or after June 2016. If your IntelliFlo pump was manufactured before these dates, verify the correct kit part number in your pump's service manual before ordering.
IMPORTANT: LUBRICATION REQUIRED — SOLD SEPARATELY
Always lubricate the O-rings included in this kit with a silicone-based lubricant before installation. We carry the Pentair R172351 Lifeguard Silicone Lubricant — the OEM-matched product for Pentair equipment.
This quick kit consolidates the seal and gasket components most commonly replaced during routine pump maintenance or following a shaft seal failure. It includes the mechanical seal, diffuser O-ring, seal plate gasket, O-ring 112 for the drain plug (qty. 2), lid O-ring, rubber washer, and impeller set screw. Replacing these components as a complete set — rather than individually — renews all mating surfaces at once, reducing the likelihood of repeat leaks at the pump body or seal plate.

Poolaroo Pro Tip
When installing this kit, replace all included seals, gaskets, and O-rings at the same time — even if only one component shows visible wear. Mixing new and aged seals at the shaft seal plate creates uneven compression points that can lead to premature re-leaking. Lubricate every O-ring in this kit with Pentair R172351 Lifeguard Silicone Lubricant before reassembly, and inspect the seal plate for scoring or cracking at the ceramic seat — replace the seal plate itself if it shows wear before installing the new mechanical seal.
