Always lubricate these O-rings with a silicone-based lubricant before installation. We carry the Pentair R172351 Lifeguard Silicone Lubricant — the OEM-matched product for Pentair equipment.
Worn or cracked valve O-rings allow water to bypass the valve seal, causing leaks at the valve body and loss of flow control. This kit replaces all valve O-rings in one service, returning the valve to a leak-free, fully operational condition.

Before seating any O-ring from this kit, clean the valve body grooves thoroughly to remove all traces of the old O-ring material and any debris. Apply a thin, even coat of Pentair R172351 Lifeguard Silicone Lubricant to each O-ring before installation — this prevents tearing during assembly and extends O-ring service life. Never use petroleum-based lubricants, which degrade rubber O-rings rapidly.
