The Pentair Stainless Steel Hex Head Bolt (070429Z) is the OEM replacement hardware fastener for a wide range of Pentair pool pump families, including the IntelliFlo, IntelliPro, WhisperFlo, SuperMax, and Challenger series. Four bolts are required per pump.
IMPORTANT: 4 BOLTS REQUIRED PER PUMP
This listing is for one (1) bolt. Each pump requires four (4) of these bolts. Order four units to complete a full replacement set for your pump.

Fitment for certain models is date-specific. For the IntelliFlo VS+SVRS and IntelliPro VS+SVRS, this bolt applies to units manufactured after June 2016. For the IntelliFlo i1 and i2, it applies to units manufactured after April 2016. Check your pump's manufacture date label before ordering.
What It Does
This 3/8"-16 x 7/8" 18-8 stainless steel hex head bolt secures the pump motor to the pump housing on compatible Pentair pool and spa pumps. Corrosion-resistant 18-8 stainless steel construction is suited for the wet, chemically active pool environment. Replacement is typically required when bolts corrode, strip, or are damaged during pump motor service.

Pro Tip
When replacing the pump motor or resealing the pump casing, replace all four bolts as a set rather than reusing corroded hardware. Stainless steel bolts in a pool environment can develop galvanic corrosion over time, particularly where they contact dissimilar metals on the pump housing. Hand-thread all four bolts before torquing to avoid cross-threading, and tighten in a cross pattern to ensure even clamping pressure across the pump face seal.
