The Pentair Pilot Screw with Captive Gum Washer (619355Z) is the OEM replacement stainless steel fastener for the IntelliBrite 5G, IntelliBrite Architectural Series, and Amerlite pool and spa light assemblies.

This stainless steel pilot screw includes an integrated captive gum washer, providing a secure, corrosion-resistant fastening point within the light assembly housing. A failed or missing pilot screw can compromise the integrity of the light assembly, allowing water ingress that may damage internal components or create a safety hazard.

When servicing IntelliBrite or Amerlite light assemblies, inspect the captive gum washer for compression set or cracking before reinstalling this screw. A deformed washer will not seal correctly even when the screw is properly torqued. If the washer shows any deterioration, replace the entire pilot screw assembly — this part includes the washer captive to the screw, so both are replaced together. All light assembly service must be performed by a licensed electrician in compliance with NEC Article 680.
