OEM Float Valve Assembly for the Sta-Rite U3 Skimmer

The Pentair Sta-Rite Float Valve Assembly with O-Ring (08650-0079) is the OEM replacement float valve assembly for the Sta-Rite / Swimquip U3 skimmer. This assembly regulates flow and can be adjusted from the top down or bottom up to suit your installation.

IMPORTANT: LUBRICATION REQUIRED — SOLD SEPARATELY
This assembly includes an O-ring. Always lubricate the O-ring with a silicone-based lubricant before installation. We carry the Pentair R172351 Lifeguard Silicone Lubricant — the OEM-matched product for Pentair equipment.

The float valve assembly controls water flow through the skimmer equalizer line. A functioning float valve maintains proper skimmer water level and prevents air from entering the suction line when pool water drops. This assembly includes the O-ring needed for a sealed installation.
