The Pentair SuperMax Union Kit (351157) is the OEM replacement 1-1/2" union kit for the Pentair SuperFlo, SuperMax, IntelliFlo3 VSF, and IntelliPro3 VSF pump series.
IMPORTANT: KIT CONTENTS — 2 COMPLETE UNION ASSEMBLIES INCLUDED
This kit includes 2 each of Items 8, 9, and 15 — enough to plumb both the inlet and outlet ports of a single pump. This is a complete kit for one pump installation; do not order this kit expecting a single union.
IMPORTANT: QUANTITY REQUIRED — 2 KITS PER SYSTEM FOR SOME MODELS
For SuperFlo VS, SuperFlo VST, and SuperMax VS variable speed pump models, Pentair parts documentation specifies 2 kits required per pump installation. Verify the quantity needed for your specific model before ordering.
This union kit provides the complete plumbing connection points at the suction and discharge ports of your Pentair pump, allowing the pump to be disconnected from the plumbing system without cutting pipe. Each union assembly accepts 1-1/2" internal slip on the pump port side and 2" external slip on the plumbing side.

When replacing your union kit, inspect the union O-rings at the same time — they are the most common source of a weeping union connection. If the O-rings show any cracking, flattening, or deformation, replace them before reassembling. Hand-tighten the union nuts only; over-tightening can crack the union body. If you're servicing a SuperFlo VS, SuperFlo VST, or SuperMax VS variable speed pump, note that Pentair documentation specifies 2 kits for a complete installation — confirm your quantity before ordering.
