The Pentair Tank Clamp O-Ring (39010200Z) is the OEM replacement clamp O-ring — .470 O.D. — for Pentair FullFloXF, Clean & Clear Plus, FNS Plus, and Quad D.E. filter series. This single O-ring seals the tank clamp connection on the filter housing, preventing leaks at the tank body joint.
IMPORTANT: LUBRICATION REQUIRED — SOLD SEPARATELY
Always lubricate this O-ring with a silicone-based lubricant before installation. We carry the Pentair R172351 Lifeguard Silicone Lubricant — the OEM-matched product for Pentair equipment.
This O-ring seals the clamp joint where the two halves of the filter tank body meet. A deteriorated or improperly seated clamp O-ring is the most common cause of leaks at the filter tank band clamp. Replacing it restores a watertight seal at the filter housing.

When replacing this clamp O-ring, inspect the full circumference of the tank clamp band and clamp bolt hardware at the same time — corrosion or distortion in the clamp itself will cause a new O-ring to leak prematurely. Before seating the O-ring, apply a thin, even coat of Pentair R172351 Lifeguard Silicone Lubricant to help the O-ring seat fully and resist cracking over repeated service cycles. Do not use petroleum-based lubricants — they degrade rubber O-rings and will void the seal.
