The Pentair Seal Kit Union (410016Z) is the OEM replacement seal kit for the 2-1/2" union connections used across Pentair's XF-series pumps, FullFloXF filters, and BioShield UV systems. Each kit includes two diamond seals (Item #12 × 2) to service both union connections in a single service call.

IMPORTANT: QUANTITY REQUIRED VARIES BY MODEL
Most compatible models require 1 kit per unit. However, IntelliFlo VSF, IntelliFlo VS, WhisperFloXF VS, and Max-E-ProXF VS require 2 kits per pump for a complete seal replacement. Confirm your model in the Fits Into table below before ordering.
The diamond-profile seals in this kit create a watertight connection at the 2-1/2" union joints where your pump, filter, or UV system connects to the plumbing. Worn or cracked union seals are a common source of drip leaks at equipment unions — replacing them restores a leak-free connection without replacing the union body itself.

Pro Tip
When servicing union seals on variable-speed pumps — particularly the IntelliFlo VS, IntelliFlo VSF, WhisperFloXF VS, and Max-E-ProXF VS — note that these models require two kits per pump. Order both kits before starting the job so you can replace all union seals in a single service visit. Inspect the union nut threads and union body face for scoring or cracking while the connections are apart; a damaged union body will cause a new seal to leak regardless of seal condition.
