This clamp assembly holds the multiport valve firmly to the filter tank body, maintaining a leak-free seal at the valve-to-tank joint. A loose or cracked band clamp allows pressure to escape at the connection point and can cause the valve to shift under operating load. Replacing a worn clamp restores the secure mechanical bond between valve and tank.

When replacing the band clamp, inspect the valve-to-tank O-ring or gasket at the same time. The clamp and the sealing surface work together — a new clamp on a worn or deformed gasket will not hold a reliable seal. Tagelus style 11A and 11B tanks use different internal configurations; confirm your style designation on the tank label before ordering any additional service parts for the same job.
