About This Item
Pentair Lower Piping Assembly (154010) for the Triton C-3 Sand Filter
The Pentair Lower Piping Assembly (154010) is the OEM replacement lower piping assembly for the Triton C-3 Sand Filter (TR140C-3). If your filter's internal distribution plumbing has cracked, broken, or is no longer sealing correctly at the lower manifold, this is the direct replacement component.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: HUB NOT INCLUDED
This assembly does not include the hub. The hub is a separate component — refer to item 40 in your Triton C-3 Sand Filter parts diagram and order it separately if replacement is also required.
The lower piping assembly sits inside the filter tank and distributes filtered water evenly through the sand bed during the filtration cycle, then collects water at the base during backwash. A damaged or deteriorated lower assembly compromises both filtration efficiency and backwash effectiveness. Match part number 154010 to your existing component before ordering to confirm correct fitment.

Pro Tip
Before ordering, locate the parts diagram for your Triton C-3 Sand Filter and confirm item 40 (the hub) is still serviceable. Since the lower piping assembly and hub work together as a unit, inspecting both while the filter is open will save you a second service call. If the hub shows cracking or wear, order it at the same time as this assembly.
