The Pentair Air Relief Strainer (154578Z) is the OEM replacement air relief strainer for early-production Triton II, Triton C-3, and TR Series sand filter tanks.
IMPORTANT: EARLY-PRODUCTION FILTERS ONLY
This strainer is used on filter tanks manufactured before 11-1-99. Check your filter's manufacture date before ordering, as later production tanks use a different air relief configuration.
This strainer installs in the air relief assembly on these early-production filter tanks, keeping debris out of the air relief passage as trapped air is vented from the tank.
