The Pentair Tank Body Assembly (17307-0110S) is the OEM replacement strainer/trap housing assembly for the Pentair IntelliPro VS, IntelliPro VSF, and IntelliPro 2 VST variable speed pump series.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: INTELLIPRO VS GENERATION COMPATIBILITY
This assembly fits newer IntelliPro VS pumps only. Earlier IntelliPro VS models (manufactured before 2019) used a different wet-end platform and may require a different strainer housing. Verify the part number on your existing strainer body or confirm against your pump's Pentair parts diagram before ordering.
This factory assembly replaces the complete strainer/trap housing assembly on the affected pump models. The trap body captures debris before it reaches the impeller, protecting pump efficiency and preventing premature wear. The included drain plugs allow the trap body to be fully drained for winterization or service access. Replacing the complete assembly — rather than individual components — restores the factory-sealed integrity of the strainer section in a single service step.
