The filter tank bottom forms the structural lower half of the Clean & Clear and Predator cartridge filter housing, sealing against the top section to contain system pressure during filtration. A cracked, warped, or leaking tank bottom compromises the filter's pressure integrity, causing water loss and reduced filtration performance. This part restores the housing to factory specification.
