The Pentair 178561 is the OEM replacement filter lid for the standard Pentair Clean & Clear Cartridge Filter and Predator Cartridge Filter in 75, 150, 175, and 200 sq. ft. models, in Almond. This is the Almond lid — if your filter housing is gray, see our separate listing for the gray version.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: NOT FOR CLEAN & CLEAR PLUS FILTERS
This lid fits the standard Clean & Clear and Predator cartridge filters only. It will not fit the Clean & Clear Plus (CCP) series, which is a larger, 4-cartridge system with a different lid assembly. Check the model name on your filter's data plate before ordering.

This lid is compatible with Pentair Clean & Clear Filter Systems manufactured 2009 and beyond. If your filter was manufactured before 2009, verify the lid design and part number against your filter's parts diagram before ordering.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: LID ONLY — O-RING AND AIR RELIEF NOT INCLUDED
This listing is for the filter lid only. The tank O-ring, air relief valve assembly, and pressure gauge are not included and are sold separately. While the filter is open, it is good practice to inspect and replace the tank O-ring if it shows any cracking or deformation.
The filter lid seals the top of the filter tank, maintaining system pressure and providing access to the cartridge element for cleaning and replacement. A cracked, warped, or damaged lid can result in pressure loss, water leaks at the tank seam, or an inability to maintain operating pressure — all signs this part needs replacement.
