The Pentair Large Cartridge (25022-0225S) is the OEM replacement 25 in. filter cartridge for the Sta-Rite System 3 Modular Media Filter, model S8M500.
This cartridge is the primary filtration element inside the System 3 modular tank, using a shallow-pleat design and full media coverage to trap debris as pool water passes through. Its low-profile pleat geometry increases dirt-holding capacity compared to standard deep-pleat cartridges, extending time between cleanings while maintaining consistent flow through the filter housing.
