The Pentair 2 in. 6-Way Clamp Style Valve (261185) is the OEM replacement multiport valve for Tagelus sand filters, fitting Tagelus TA 100 and 100D Sand Filters.
This is a complete replacement valve.
What It Does
This top-mounted multiport valve controls all six water flow positions — filter, backwash, rinse, recirculate, waste, and closed — directing flow through the Tagelus sand filter for normal operation, maintenance, and winterization. A dedicated winter position allows the valve to be left partially open for freeze protection without damaging the diverter assembly.

When swapping a multiport valve on a Tagelus filter, inspect the clamp band and tank collar O-ring before reinstalling. Replacing a valve without checking the clamp and collar seal is one of the most common causes of post-service leaks at the valve-to-tank junction. Confirm your filter tank style is 11A or 11B — these styles use the clamp-mount interface that this valve is designed for. Threaded-port Tagelus models require a different valve assembly.
