The Pentair HiFlow 1-1/2" Top Valve Assembly (272531) is the OEM replacement complete valve assembly for the HiFlow series multiport valves and TA Tagelus filter valve line.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: CONFIRM TOP-MOUNT CONFIGURATION AND CONNECTION SIZE
This is a 1-1/2" top-mount valve assembly. Verify that your existing valve is a top-mount configuration with 1-1/2" ports before ordering. A side-mount valve or different port size requires a different assembly entirely.
This assembly provides the complete six-position directional control — filter, backwash, rinse, waste, recirculate, and closed — required for routine sand filter operation and maintenance. A cracked valve body, failed rotor seal, or broken handle defeats proper position selection and can allow unfiltered water to return to the pool or send backwash flow in the wrong direction. Replacing the complete assembly restores full directional control and sealing integrity in a single service step, rather than sourcing individual internal components.
