About This Item
The Pentair Sealplate, Almond (356071Z) is the OEM replacement almond-colored seal plate for the SuperFlo VS, SuperFlo VST, and SuperMax VS variable speed pump series. This listing is for the almond finish — confirm the color of your existing seal plate before ordering.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: MANUFACTURED AFTER 06/17/19
This seal plate is designed for SuperFlo VS, SuperFlo VST, and SuperMax VS pumps manufactured after June 17, 2019. Verify your pump's manufacture date on the motor label before ordering — earlier production units require a different seal plate.
The seal plate is the structural interface between the pump's wet end and the motor assembly. It houses the mechanical shaft seal and maintains the critical separation between the water-side components and the motor. A cracked, warped, or damaged seal plate compromises shaft seal alignment, which can allow water to migrate toward the motor bearing — making timely replacement essential when the seal plate shows wear, discoloration, or physical damage.

Pro Tip
When replacing the seal plate, replace the shaft seal at the same time — the two components wear together, and installing a new seal plate against a worn shaft seal will shorten the life of both parts. Check the manufacture date stamped on your pump's motor label before ordering: this seal plate is confirmed for units built after June 17, 2019. If your pump predates that cutoff, cross-reference the part number on your original seal plate to confirm the correct replacement.
