The Pentair Propane to Natural Gas Conversion Kit (460756) is the OEM replacement conversion kit for the MasterTemp and Max-E-Therm Model 300 pool heater — purpose-built for converting a propane-fueled unit to natural gas operation. This kit includes brass fitting and o-ring from the Pentair burner system assembly.

This kit provides the components necessary to reconfigure the Model 300 burner system from LP (propane) to natural gas (NG) fuel. Converting to natural gas requires replacing specific burner orifice and gas train components — this kit supplies the OEM-matched parts for that service. It is not included with the heater and must be ordered separately when a fuel-source change is required.

The 300LP and 300NA designations indicate the heater's factory fuel type — both Model 300 variants accept this conversion kit when switching to natural gas. Have your licensed technician verify the incoming gas supply pressure meets natural gas specifications for the Model 300 prior to installation; an incorrect supply pressure will affect combustion performance regardless of the conversion kit fitted.
