The Pentair 461105 is the OEM Control Board Kit for the MasterTemp and Max-E-Therm pool and spa heaters (125, 250, and 400) — Natural Gas (NA) and Liquid Propane (LP) versions. This kit replaces the PCBA and membrane keypad as a matched assembly, restoring full heater control and automation connectivity.
Note, this product has been succeeded by the 466105Z (interchangeable per Pentair service support).

The PCBA is the primary control module for the heater — managing ignition sequencing, temperature regulation, and RS485 communication with automation systems such as IntelliTouch and EasyTouch. When the control board fails, common symptoms include no-start conditions, persistent fault codes on the display, and loss of automation connectivity. Replacing the PCBA and membrane keypad together as a matched kit ensures consistent electrical contacts between the board and the keypad buttons, avoiding intermittent input failures that can result from mixing components across service intervals.
