The transformer steps down incoming line voltage to the operating voltage required by the IntelliChlor salt chlorine generation system within the EasyTouch control platform. A failed transformer will prevent the IntelliChlor cell from receiving power, halting chlorine production entirely. Replacing a faulty transformer restores normal automated sanitizer output without requiring replacement of the full control system.
