About This Item
The Pentair O-Ring (590118Z) is the OEM replacement sealing O-ring for the ColorVision LED Light Bubbler water feature.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: LUBRICATION REQUIRED — SOLD SEPARATELY
Always lubricate this O-ring with a silicone-based lubricant before installation. We carry the Pentair R172351 Lifeguard® Silicone Lubricant — the OEM-matched product for Pentair equipment.
This O-ring provides the watertight seal on the ColorVision LED Light Bubbler, preventing water intrusion at the light assembly interface. A degraded or damaged O-ring will allow water to bypass the seal, potentially compromising the LED light module and the integrity of the bubbler assembly. Replacing this O-ring at the first sign of leakage or during any scheduled light service keeps the bubbler performing as designed.
This will work with both types of bubblers, vinyl/fiberglass as well as gunite.

Pro Tip
Before installation, apply a thin coat of Pentair R172351 Lifeguard® Silicone Lubricant to the O-ring. This helps seat it evenly, prevents tearing during assembly, and extends service life. Never use petroleum-based lubricants — they will degrade the O-ring material and cause premature failure.
