The Pentair 77707-0054 is the OEM replacement igniter and gasket kit for the Sta-Rite Max-E-Therm and Pentair MasterTemp pool and spa heater series.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: GAS HEATER COMPONENT — PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION REQUIRED
This igniter is an internal gas heater component. Gas and electrical heater components must be serviced by a licensed pool professional or qualified HVAC technician. Do not attempt to service gas or high-voltage components without proper certification.

The igniter initiates combustion within the MasterTemp and Max-E-Therm heater's burner assembly. When the igniter degrades or fails, the heater will not light, leaving the burner cycle incomplete. This kit includes both the igniter and its mating gasket, ensuring a properly sealed installation when the igniter is replaced.
