About This Item
OEM Lens Gasket for Pentair Amerlite Pool and Spa Lights
The Pentair Gasket for 8-3/8 in. Lens (79101600Z) is the OEM replacement gasket for Pentair Amerlite underwater pool and spa lighting fixtures fitted with the 8-3/8" lens.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: LICENSED PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION REQUIRED
Pool lighting components operate in wet environments. Installation must comply with NEC Article 680 and be performed by a licensed electrician.
This gasket seals the lens assembly against the light fixture housing, preventing water intrusion into the fixture. A deteriorated or compressed lens gasket allows moisture to penetrate the housing, which can compromise the fixture's electrical integrity and shorten lamp life. Replacing the gasket at the same time as the lens or bulb service is standard practice to maintain a watertight seal.

Pro Tip
When servicing your Amerlite fixture, inspect the gasket for compression set, cracking, or deformation before reinstalling the lens. A gasket that has taken a permanent set will not seal reliably even if it appears intact. Match the 8-3/8 in. lens diameter against your existing fixture before ordering — Amerlite fixtures were produced in multiple lens sizes, and selecting the wrong gasket diameter will result in an improper seal.
