About This Item
The Pentair Commercial Flow Indicator (R172276) is the OEM replacement flow indicator for the Pentair Corrosion Resistant Flow Indicator Assembly, and is also compatible with select 320 Series in-line chlorine and bromine feeders.
What It Does
The flow indicator provides a visible confirmation that water is actively moving through the chemical feeder or flow indicator assembly. When the indicator shows no flow, chemical feed is interrupted — preventing dry-dosing conditions that can damage feeder components or allow untreated water to pass through the system. Replacing a failed or clouded indicator restores accurate, at-a-glance flow verification without replacing the entire assembly.

Pro Tip
Before ordering, locate the part number molded or printed on your existing flow indicator and confirm it matches R172276. The 320 Series compatibility listed above applies specifically to feeders with 1/2 in. feed lines — if your feeder uses a different feed line diameter, verify against your equipment manual before purchasing.
