Always lubricate this O-ring with a silicone-based lubricant before installation. We carry the Pentair R172351 Lifeguard Silicone Lubricant — the OEM-matched product for Pentair equipment.
The bottom O-ring seals the base of the Rainbow 320 feeder body, preventing chemical leaks at the lower connection point. A worn or damaged bottom O-ring is a common cause of feeder leakage at the base. This listing is for one O-ring (sold individually).

Never use petroleum-based lubricants on this O-ring — they will degrade the rubber and shorten the seal's life. Always use a silicone-based lubricant such as the Pentair R172351 Lifeguard Silicone Lubricant before seating the O-ring. Inspect both the top and bottom O-rings at the same time — if one has failed, the other is typically near the end of its service life as well.
