This assembly includes the black strainer pot, plastic strainer basket, strainer pot lid, lid O-ring, 1/4 in. drain plug, and drain plug O-ring. It is not sold as a single component — confirm you need the full kit before ordering.
The strainer pot houses the strainer basket and connects to the pump volute, forming the sealed chamber that traps debris before water reaches the impeller. This kit replaces the entire pot assembly along with its related seals and drain hardware in one service, addressing cracking, UV degradation, or drain plug leaks at the pot body.
