The foot insert fits into the base of the pump housing, providing a stable mounting point that keeps the pump seated securely on its pad or mounting surface. A cracked, broken, or missing foot insert can allow the pump body to shift under vibration, placing stress on connected plumbing. This is the almond-colored version — confirm your pump's housing color before ordering.
