The Pentair Water Slinger (072185Z) is the OEM replacement water slinger for the C Series® Model C-115 pump. If your original water slinger is cracked, missing, or damaged, this is the correct direct-replacement component for that specific pump model.

The water slinger sits on the motor shaft between the seal plate and the motor housing. Its function is to deflect any water that migrates past the mechanical shaft seal away from the motor bearings, protecting the motor from water ingress damage. A missing or failed water slinger accelerates motor bearing wear and can lead to premature motor failure.
