The Pentair Air Relief Strainer (150035Z) is the OEM replacement 3/8-inch strainer for the manual air relief assembly on Pentair Triton II and Triton C-3 sand filters.

This strainer is designed for Triton II and Triton C-3 filters manufactured after November 1999. If your filter was manufactured before that date, verify the part number against the number on your existing strainer or in your equipment's manual before ordering.
The air relief strainer screens debris and particulate from entering the manual air relief valve on the filter's multiport or top-mount valve assembly. A clogged or damaged strainer restricts the valve's ability to bleed trapped air from the filter tank, which can impair filter performance and make pressure readings unreliable. Replacing a degraded strainer restores proper airflow through the relief valve and protects the valve seat from particulate damage.
