The Pentair Air Relief Tube (154436) is the OEM replacement air relief tube for the Triton II Sand Filter, confirmed for models TR50 and TR60.
The air relief tube is the internal passage that routes trapped air from the filter tank to the manual air relief valve at the top of the filter head. When this tube is cracked, blocked, or missing, the air relief valve cannot vent the tank effectively — leaving air pockets that reduce filtration performance and cause pressure gauge inaccuracies. Replacing a damaged tube restores proper venting and accurate pressure readings.
