The Pentair Wrench, 6 in. Closure (154512Z) is the OEM replacement closure tool for the Tagelus, Triton II, and PacFab lines of Pentair sand filters and multiport valves.
What It Does
This wrench engages the 6-1/2 in. across-flats flanged closure found on Tagelus clamp-style filter lids, and on the flanged valve bodies used on select PacFab multiport valves and Triton II sand filters. It provides the leverage needed to break the seal and reseat the closure without rounding the flange flats — a common cause of closure damage when improvised tools are used during routine filter service.
