About This Item
The Pentair Sight Glass 2 In. Clear (154566Z) is the OEM replacement sight glass for Pentair's 2 In. Hi-Flow Valve and 2 In. PVC Slide Valve series.
The clear sight glass provides a visual inspection port on the valve body, allowing you to confirm water flow and clarity without disassembling the valve. A cracked, clouded, or leaking sight glass compromises your ability to monitor valve operation and can allow water to escape the system at the valve housing — replacing it with the correct OEM part restores both function and a watertight seal.

Poolaroo Pro Tip
Before ordering, confirm your valve model number against the list above — the Hi-Flow and Slide Valve series use the same sight glass, but verify your valve's model number plate matches one of the models listed. Inspect the threaded nipple on your existing sight glass for any thread damage or sealant buildup before installation; clean threads thoroughly to ensure a leak-free fit on the new part.
