This closure (154575Z) fits Triton C-3 filters manufactured before March 1997. If your Triton C-3 was manufactured on or after March 1997, verify the part number on your existing closure before ordering — a different closure may be required for later-production units.
The tank closure seals the filter vessel at the top of the tank body, maintaining system pressure during filtration cycles. A damaged or cracked closure can cause pressure loss, water leakage at the tank head, and filter bypass — replacing it with the correct OEM part restores a proper pressure-rated seal.
