This closure kit (Detail A) fits Triton II Sand Filters manufactured after 12/1/91 only. Filters produced before this date use a different closure assembly. Verify your filter's manufacture date before ordering.
The closure kit seals the top of the Triton II sand filter tank, securing the internal filter components and maintaining the pressure boundary of the vessel. A damaged or worn closure assembly can result in leaks at the tank head or loss of operating pressure. This kit provides all components needed to restore the buttress-thread closure to OEM specification.
