The Pentair O-Ring for Drain Plug (191474Z) is the OEM replacement drain plug seal for Pentair Clean & Clear Plus, Clean & Clear RP, FNS Plus, and Quad D.E. filter lines.
⚠️ IMPORTANT: MANUFACTURE DATE REQUIREMENT
This O-ring fits filters manufactured after 5/21/05 only. Verify your filter's manufacture date — typically found on the label affixed to the tank body — before ordering. Filters built before this date require a different drain plug O-ring.
The drain plug O-ring forms the watertight seal between the drain plug and the filter tank body. When this O-ring degrades, flattens, or cracks, the drain assembly will weep or leak even when the plug is fully tightened. Replacing this O-ring restores a positive seal and prevents water loss at the tank base. Match the part number 191474Z against the number molded or stamped on your existing O-ring before ordering.
