What It Does
The manifold retainer rod secures the internal filter manifold assembly within the tank, maintaining correct positioning of the filtration elements during operation. A damaged, corroded, or broken retainer rod allows the manifold to shift under pressure, compromising filter performance and potentially damaging internal components.
