Always lubricate this O-ring style plug before installation. We carry the Pentair R172351 Lifeguard® Silicone Lubricant — the OEM-matched product for Pentair equipment.
This plug seats against the skimmer body using a compression O-ring rather than a tapered thread, allowing hand-tight installation and removal without thread sealant. It is used to close off the 2 in. port on the Bermuda Skimmer when that port is not in active service.
