The Pentair 21180-0100 is the OEM replacement lateral assembly for the Cristal-Flo T-BP Series High-Rate Sand Filter, Model T-300BP-2. If your filter is losing sand to the pool or return lines, a cracked or broken lateral is the most common cause — this assembly is the correct OEM replacement to restore proper filtration.
What It Does
The lateral assembly sits at the base of the filter tank and draws filtered water through slotted fingers while holding back the sand bed. When laterals crack or break, sand bypasses the filter and enters the pool return lines. Replacing the lateral assembly restores the integrity of the filter bed and returns the system to full filtration efficiency.
